Macho is a preschool-aged Puerto Rican boy who is curious, loving, and learning about the world one new experience at a time. Like many young children, Macho has big feelings, asks questions, makes mistakes, tries again, and discovers what it means to be brave.

Through his stories, children can see parts of themselves in Macho as he learns about friendship, kindness, confidence, family, school, and social-emotional growth. Macho reminds every child that it is okay to feel nervous, okay to need help, and always possible to grow.

Most importantly, Macho helps children know that they can be proud of who they are. No matter their background, learning style, feelings, abilities, or exceptional needs, every child deserves to feel seen, loved, included, and confident being themselves.
